BMAT is a 2-hour pen-and-paper test, which consists of three sections and is taken in English. Sections 1 and 2 are multiple-choice, and Section 3 is a writing task. You can find out more about the format of the test below.
BMAT tests your ability to apply scientific and mathematical knowledge, as well as problem solving, critical thinking and written communication skills that are essential to university-level study.
The test date is 07 May 2019.

Please note, the latest BMAT test specification is new for 2019-2020 and includes new topics. This should be considered as part of your preparation.
Test date: 07 May 2019
Registration opens: 25 February 2019
Last date for requests for modified papers: 02 April 2019
Registration closes: 26 April 2019
Results released: 28 May 2019 (0900 UK time)
The cost of your BMAT entry will be: GBP130; EUR136; or USD210. The cost of a Results Enquiry or Appeal will be GBP40; EUR44; or USD50.
The fee and currency you pay will depend on where in the world you are taking the test.
