Your results are automatically sent to any BMAT universities that you informed your test centre about when registering for the test.
Can I add and/or remove universities before my results are released?
If you would like to make any changes to the universities you applied to, you will need to contact your test centre. Any amendments will need to be submitted to us by your Exams Officer in advance of the test date.
Your results are not sent to universities automatically. You need to select which universities you want to receive your results using our Metritests system. This can be done as soon as the results have been released.
Your results are valid until 30 September 2023, but please check with your chosen universities for any information about when they need the results, to make sure you share them in time for your application to be considered.
How to release your results to universities
Follow three easy steps:
- Go to your Metritests account (login details are on the Confidential Results Information sheet you will be given on the test day).
- Click on the test inside your Metritests account and select the ‘Share Results’ option.
- Select the universities you want to receive your results using the dropdown under ‘Institution Name’, then the degree(s) from the dropdown under ‘Course Details’, then click ‘Save’. The university will then have access to your results straight away.
What if I don’t use the Metritests system?
If you do not make your selection using the Metritests system, your test results will not be provided to the university.
Can I send my results to universities I have not applied to?
For most universities, sharing results does not constitute an application, and your results will not be considered unless you have also made a formal application to the university. Please contact the universities directly on how to do this.
