Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing is monitoring the situation with the spread of Novel Coronavirus very closely. For all the latest updates and to find out how it might affect your admissions test, please visit our dedicated COVID-19 webpage.
We ask that you do not contact our Helpdesk during this time as they have no further information at present.
If you're applying to study in the UK, the dates of the BMAT – September test session are designed to allow students to have their results before the UCAS application deadline.
Please note: we reserve the right to make changes to these dates.
*The test starts at 10:00 BST in the UK. The scheduled start times for international centres will vary, depending upon where they are in the world.
**Results will be released at 09:00 BST on this date. Use our Metritests system to check your results, using the login details you created to register for the test. You can share your results with institutions via Metritests from this date. Find out more about sharing your results on the Scoring and results page.
†You will not be able to share your results with your chosen UK institution(s) if you miss this deadline. For universities outside the UK, check their websites for local deadlines.
Please note: we reserve the right to make changes to these costs.
Your registration fee must be paid in full at the time you book your test online.
The entry fee for BMAT – September is higher than for BMAT – November because it includes the test fee and a fee that is paid to the centre to run the test. There is no late entry, so no late entry fees apply.
Institutions using BMAT want to make sure that the entry fee is not a barrier to access or widening participation. In some cases, we can reimburse the BMAT fee based on ability to pay. You will need to book your test online and pay the entry fee, which will be reimbursed to you in full if you are eligible for reimbursement.
To apply for a reimbursement you need to complete the BMAT reimbursement application form. The reimbursement application deadline for BMAT – September is 24 July 2020.
You will be required to upload ONE supporting document from the list below:
Please note: the list of documents will be updated in April 2020 so please check the list again when you arrange to register for the test.
