Speak to your school or test centre about registering for the test as soon as you have decided to take a Cambridge pre-interview assessment. The table below outlines the key dates, but test centres may have their own earlier registration deadlines.
Please note: we reserve the right to make changes to these dates.
Important information for BMAT candidates
For the BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT), there is an earlier standard fee registration deadline (1 October). Please visit the BMAT dates and costs page for more information.
There is a registration fee to take BMAT and TMUA, see BMAT dates and costs and TMUA dates and costs for details.
You don’t need to pay a registration fee for any of the other Cambridge pre-interview assessments.
However, if registering via an authorised centre, you may need to pay an administration fee – speak directly with the centre to confirm costs. It’s always best to check with your school/college first if they can administer the assessment for you to avoid this cost.
Please inform your test centre as early as possible of any special requirements.
Access Arrangements are available if you have a disability or special requirement and you are entitled to support for other exams.
Examples of Access Arrangements include, but are not limited to:
Find out how to apply for Access Arrangements/modified papers on the Cambridge pre-interview assessments registration page.
If the registration deadline falls on a public or national holiday, please be aware there is no extension to the registration period.
We advise that you ask your test centre to register you as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Speak to your test centre directly about what time the test will start and how far in advance of the start time you should arrive.
