For institutions
You are here:
In 2021 TSA: Section 1 for Cambridge will be a computer-based test. You should confirm with your school or test centre whether they will provide the computer or whether you need to bring your own.
Details have been updated in these web pages.
The dates of the TSA: Section 1 test cycle are designed to fit in with the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) cycle for applications to the University of Cambridge.
Please note: we reserve the right to make changes to these dates.
*If the registration deadline falls on a public or national holiday, please be aware there is no extension to the registration period. Therefore, you must ensure your test centre registers you for the test in good time.
Reminder: the 15 October deadline is the last date for test centres to register you for the test, so you will need to register with a test centre well before then. Test centres may set their own deadline in advance for accepting registrations, so please make sure you speak to them as early as possible.
**For international test centres the scheduled start times will vary, depending upon where they are in the world.
Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing does not charge candidates who have registered to take the test. Some centres may charge an administration fee to candidates sitting the TSA: Section 1, which covers the cost of invigilation and room hire which are essential for running the test: contact your centre for details.
