Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing - Information for Test Takers - TSA Oxford

How is TSA Oxford scored?

Section 1 scores 1 mark per question.

Scores are calculated on the TSA scale to one decimal place (running approximately 0–100). The scale is an estimate of the candidate’s ability, which makes scoring comparable by factoring in the question and overall test difficulty, using the Rasch statistical technique.

Marking of this section is automated. Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing does not accept requests for re-marks.

Section 2 is reviewed by the admissions tutor(s) of the Oxford College the candidate has applied to.

TSA Oxford results

On Wednesday 11 January 2023, we will issue a PDF Statement of Results to each candidate via our Results Online system. Please note: Results will only be released to candidates who have applied to one of the courses requiring TSA or TSA S1 at the University of Oxford. Candidates and centres can download their results online:

Results Online – Candidates
Results Online – Centres

When registering on Results Online, if you cannot select your date of birth in the pop-up calendar, please type it into the box.

Results will be passed to the College at Oxford to which a candidate has applied. The exact use of results varies between the subjects which use the test. For more information, please refer to the website for your chosen course.
